Analysis of Groundwater Potential in the Coastal Area of Parangtritis using Geoelectrical VES Method

This research was conducted in the coastal area of Parangtritis, Bantul Regency, Special Region Yogyakarta. study aims to describe hydrostratigraphy aquifers using Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) geoelectric method, calculate volume availability and safe yield groundwater application, compare products with demand for water domestic tourism purposes. uses a field survey approach data analysis. In this study, there were 9 VES measurement points primary 16 from secondary data, five samples restaurants, 74 needs. The point measured by purposive random sampling method representing each landform. Hydrostratigraphic analysis preparation 2D 3D cross-sectional models subsurface lithology performed on all geoelectrical data. results showed that aquifer layer is located at varying depths landform, alluvium sand as constituent material. most significant potential found form dunes beach ridges. second-largest fluviomarine landforms, minor alluvial plain. landform dune ridge 117,776,100 m3; plain (45,422,700) (25,553,000) m3.
